Nutrition in Sickle Cell Disease Conference

About this event

Focusing on nutrition can help to mitigate some of the severe and debilitating symptoms suffered by people with Sickle Cell Disease, the inheritable and chronic condition induced by misshapen haemoglobin cells. This conference provides a platform for learning about the most recent research, sharing evidence-based nutritional resources, and ways to incorporate nutrition services and patient experience into improving Sickle Cell Disease healthcare services, to transform patient outcomes.

Claudine Matthews, leading Sickle Cell Nutrition Expert and author of the world’s first National Nutrition Standards for Sickle Cell, will host the event.
